makes me happy: Friends, good movies, reading a book in the park, a library, smell of a new book, reading comic-books in a coffee shop, playing board games, playing role-playing games with my friends on Sunday, meeting interesting people and having a great discussion for hours.
Here's an highlight of what and whom I'm looming forward:
Jennifer Lawrence for "The Silver Lining Playbook", I really hope she gets the Oscar for best actress, she's so talented and it's already her second nomination for best actress (first one was for "Winter's Bone") and she's still in her early 20's!!! Ok yeah, I admit she a hottie too, that helps LOL!!!
If she doesn't get it, I hope it's going to be Naomi Watts for "The Impossible", she was great too and a very close 2nd for the best actress nod.
Best actor, would be cool to see "Bradley Cooper" get it for "The Silver Lining Playbook" too, I always like when younger and newer talents get rewarded for their amazing work, but I'm pretty sure that it will go to Daniel Day Lewis (for "Lincoln"), this would be the third he'd win one for best actor if he gets it!! In all fairness he was amazing as Lincoln, so it would be well deserved.
Best movie, I really, really hope it will be "Argo", especially as Ben Affleck hasn't been nominated for best director, and it's a big WTF? with me... He won the Golden Globe, the Screen Actor Guild, the Director Guild etc. etc. but no best director Oscar nomination... go figure! He might not be a great actor, but he's really a great director!
Still Lincoln might steal it...
Best supporting actress, has to be Anne Hataway, she was sublime in "Les Miserables", and here's another young performer that really deserves an Oscar.
So that's about it, looking forward to it, and Seth McFarlane as the host, should be HILARIOUS!
