i lost my virginity: A long time ago... I've retraced my steps several times and still haven't found it.
sign: Virgo.
makes me happy: Sharing music or ideas with the world.
into: Playing, writing and recording music. Listening to music and going to concerts. Traveling, meeting new people, mixing drinks, cooking, women, beaches, outdoors, video games.
gets me hot: A girl with piercing eyes and a beautiful smile. A girl who can move with rhythm and grace and presents herself with dignity and self assurance.
makes me sad: Economics, monetary systems, violence towards women and children, impoverish nations, class systems.
fantasy: To get a little crazy at a popular landmark.
most humbling moment: Auditioning for the band Fuel.
Wow, I'm terrible at keeping up any kind of blog. My ADHD gets me distracted easily.
Anyway, the holidays are upon us. A lot of crazy people and traffic everywhere. I personally don't celebrate Christmas. 2 reasons. First, I am not a christian. Second, I feel I don't need to buy my family's affection and I certainly won't trample people in stores and all that to buy a gift. That's my view anyway.
I'm still working with my band. We've hit a few roadblocks though. First our lead guitarist left. His gf was having kidney failure and was going through dialysis. Then she dumped him and he went to remake his old band...
Anyway, we still haven't found a bassist either.
Still writing originals though. They are sounding pretty sweet too. I'm still doing most of the guitar writing, which I find pretty funny. I'm the vocalist in the band and won't even play a guitar at shows. Somehow, after our lead left it became my responsibility to teach the lead pieces to new leads we are auditioning. I consider myself a much better vocalist than guitarist, but these problems we are having are making me wonder if I should step back from the mic and just play guitar and let someone else handle the singing.
Oh, Here is a demo of one of the songs. It's just me on guitar, but it has the structure of the song, A few mistakes, but still pretty decent.
