1. Do you like blue cheese? Oh yes, I love it sprinkled on to of salad, or I can eat it all by itself!
2. Coke or Pepsi? Diet Coke, but if I’m being honest, I prefer Dr. Pepper.
3. Do you own a gun? No, I used to, but I turned it into the local police Dept. not too long ago.
4. What flavor Kool-Aid? I don't drink kool-aid! They still make that?
5. What do you think of hot dogs? I love beef hotdogs, but my waistline doesn’t!
6. Favorite TV show? Game of Thrones, followed closely by The Expanse.
7. Favorite Movie? “The Hunt for Red October.” I served in the Navy for 15-years and rode in Submarines for most of that time, so this movie hits home! Highly recommend this one if you haven’t seen it.
8. What do you drink in the morning? Milk, but most mornings I start off with a cup of Joe with a little creamer or coco.
9. Can you do a push up? Yes, about 35 before shit starts to hurt too much.
10 Favorite jewelry? None, I don’t wear jewelry except a wedding ring. I used to wear an earing in my left ear, but…
11. Favorite hobbies? Reading, reading, reading, followed by writing, cooking, hiking, scuba diving, traveling (I try and take two long trips a year, one of those abroad), and watching TV.
12. Do you have A.D H.D.? Nope
13. Do you wear glasses? Yes, since I was, fuck, since forever!
14. Favorite cartoon character? Don’t have one.
15. Three things I did today? Watered the plants, met with the landscapers, and worked!
17. Three things you drink regularly? Water, Coffee, diet soda.
18. Current dislike? My country and the so-called President (wait can I say that?); the level of negativity and outright hate display daily by this man is being reflected by the nation as a whole. Everyday seem to bring a new level of shit to wade through and frankly my SOUL is fucking tired!
19. Favorite place to go? The beach, to bed; and sailing when the breeze is just right to fill the sails an take me away until I’m surround by nothing by blue and quite.
20. How did you bring in the New Year? I went to bed at 10:00pm. ☹
21. Where would you like to go? Iceland, Ghana, Egypt, Australia, Amsterdam, Vancouver, Ireland, China, Singapore, Malaysia, New Zealand, Kenya…an in the U.S. the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Sequoia National Parks.

23. Favorite color? Blue is all of it hues.
24. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets? I don’t know, I have never slept on satin sheets so, I can really answer this one, because I have no frame of reference.
25. Can you whistle? Yes, and I am quite good at it!
26. What are you doing right now? Sitting at my laptop with listening to 1A on NPR.
27. Would you be a pirate? Well, I would get to sail and be at sea, but, I abhor unnecessary violence, so, no.
28. Favorite food? I love food, so how to choose? I am a Chocolate chip cookie addict; I but them freshly backed from a few local bakeries and freeze them so I can have them whenever. I al so love fried chicken and Mac & Cheese with sautéed onions, bacon, and smoke gouda cheese. And show does not love pizza? Not that veggie stuff, that’s not real pizza, I’m talking about pizza piled high with meat, cheese, onions, and pineapple!
29. Last thing that made you laugh? Ummmm, I can’t remember.
30. Last time you received flowers? Never have!
31. Most recent injury? So many pains it hard to say. My left shoulder has been acting up, not sure what I did to it.
32. How many pets are in your house? One cat.
33. Worst pain ever? When I threw out my back while weight lifting decades ago. Though I have healed I still have daily lower back pain.
34. Do you like to dance? Absolutely, but it has been a good long while since I had a night on the town so to speak.
35. Are your parents still alive? No, my mother passed away when I was 19, and my father passed with I was 40.
36. Do you love your life? My answer to this question is nuanced and complicated. Sometime yes, most times no for a variety of reasons. My spouse has MS is in the latter stages of the decease. She is confined to a wheelchair and is declining mentally as well. So, I am a caretaker, have been for the last 18 years, so I’m tired, and go through bouts of depression and hopelessness. But I press on…

38. How many grandchildren do you have? Five
39. Car or Van? Car, a 2018 Chevy Volt
40. People Person? I want to be, but I have trust issues; like most I suspect. So, it takes me a while to warm up to people, to open up and share. I tend to spend a lot of time alone, or at home. I want to make more friends, but doing so can be exhausting.
