Hi, I was under the impression that it became radioactive after it was fired. well, i guess what your saying is that the U-235 is extrated for nuclear use and what is left is not exactly radioactive, but poisoness. My source of imformation was emphasising the soldiers coming back to the states sick from DU as well as other stuff. so, DU still sucks because of this reason that i know about but, ya it's not nuclear. thanks for the info. peace.
