so this kind of pissed me off a bit...

a friend of mine, cindy... her daughters came home with papers from school about take your child to work day.. her being a stay at home mom..decided to fill out the papers anyway...she had stated that she was going to take them shopping for groceries, teach them how to buy on a budget..how to plan out the meals for the week..how to manage all the tasks around the house..etc etc... it was very well laid out and very well written.

but of course, the school turned it down..stating something along the lines of...this opportunity for the children is meant for them to experience what their parents do at real jobs everyday...we must deny this..blah blah blah

i dont care who you are or what you do...but being a mom and taking care of everyone day in and day out..requires more than any job on the planet ever could!!!
