Hmmmm.....something seems different here....can't quite put my finger on it....oh well!

I had a dull, dull weekend. The best part of the weekend was the food. Had wonderful catfish fillets for dinner on Sunday, along with my fav vegetable dish. I take a bag of frozen Calif. blend and a bag of stir fry veggies with noodles and combine them both in a large round...

My parents have been growing raspberries for the past couple of years now, I always make sure I grab a handful whenever I am over there. The only problem is I have to fight the birds for em.

Don't even get me started on honeysuckle, I love the smell of it so much.
laceyglove:
I love honeysuckle. it's so nice catching a whiff of it,faintly in the breeze. it reminds me of childhood memories, hey, i should be in guns n roses. Sweet!

coffee is the life, i tell ya. a good cup that is. my husband is the coffee man, we call him the cha chi man, (we have lots of names for things, hence cheeba being my nephew, but cha chi is coffe and also icecream. it can be a bit tricky biggrin )

have a super weekend my friend. kiss

Holy crap!

I can't believe it's been week since I've updated...seems like only a couple of days have gone by!

I took my Mom to the city, to a new Parkinson's Dr. on Tuesday. The guy we had been seeing, was not satisfying. He didn't seem to want to answer questions and would spend only about 5 minutes with us, when we went back for...

The gods have smiled upon me!

After a full day of digging with the backhoe, I've finally found and fixed my water line leak. I can't tell you what a load off of my mind this is. If I hadn't found the leak, the alternative was to put in a new 1200 ft water line....which meant digging through part of the yard and making a...

I think I was wrestling in the night last night....not sure who or what I was wrestling, but my bed was a mess of tangled sheets, blanket and bedspread this morning. The funny thing is, I slept really well....was out like a light....don't remember dreaming or wrestling....woke up more rested than I have for some time now....go figure!

I do have serious bedhead this morning....I...

I was reminded yesterday, of something my Dad used to say.

"Never give anything more worry, than it's worth"

In other words, don't sweat the little stuff. I think I've been guilty of worrying about to many things and too many things that are out of my control recently. It's easy to get caught up in worrying about every little thing....and then get overwhelmed. I...

Thanks so much for your kind words about my granny. It really helps.

You also make a good point in your journal, as well. How'd you get so clever? kiss

I must admit, my whole attitude has been pretty BLAH this week. I think the weather has a lot to do with it, or maybe it's just a phase...who knows? Either way, I don't like the feel of it. I gotta do something to get some energy and enthusiasm back.

My weekend was sooooooo normal. Not that I really expected it to not be, but something out of the normal would have been nice. And even though I slept like a log last night, I'm still tired this morning....which is unusual for me. I'm hoping the coffee will kick in any time now!

It is once again, cool and damp. 55 degrees and light intermittant...

"POOF"

I'm back!

Holy Moly what a ride!

I think everyone around the ranch here, has been getting into the loco weed. Things have been a little out of kilter this last week. It's too complicated to go into details, but I can say that I'm proud to have kept my sanity and good reason, while everyone else around me was losing theirs!

I had...

Beautiful yard, big but beautiful. Do you use a riding mower? If not, that's quite a mow. Yard work can be very theraputic! Enjoy the day my green thumb friend kiss
