What I need:

I need a person that I could be totally myself with. That will accept everything about me. That I don't have to pretend with ...or temper any part of myself. Where I could be geeky, giggly, annoyed with the world, saucy, racy, stupidly happy, dark, leather appreciating, girly skirt wearing, intense, and everything else that I am.

I would love to be...

When did you know you were agnostic?

I was 21 and had spent years trying to fit myself into some religion. I realized I wasn't really a christian when I was 16 so went in pursuit of another. I thought one had to believe SOMETHING....but...

Wow...what a day. Do you ever have one of those days where this incredible tension builds up in your body...a type of dread but you don't know why? I almost felt like my skin was going to pull apart from my body. It made me moody, on the brink of tears, angry, sad, and kinda lonely. I almost felt like I was going to throw...

Another item from this last weekend....my boy showed me a scrap book about his great uncle who was a pilot in WWII. He made it all the way through the war...but died during a test piloting run in England after.

The book is HUGE. It is a collection of all letters written by and about his uncle regarding the war. It starts with his call...

wow can you scan it? My stepfather's dad was a pilot and was flyig a B-52 I think. He was flying right next to the Memphis Belle when his plane was shot down. He might really like seeing it.

Thank you so much!

That book sounds really cool and personal.

Went to go see Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit yesterday. It was lovely! They had huge posters and paintings of dancing girls and odd characters. I love the way he really brings you into the moment. I love the bold color strokes and the line quality. http://www.artic.edu/aic/exhibitions/toulouse_lautrec/themes.html

Spent the night with my boy after. I just love being next to him. We don't even have to be doing...

You can always shut out as much of the world as you want, or let it in. That's not a problem.

I wish i had seen the Moulin Rouge in T-L's day, but even seeing it a year ago was fascinating, if a little bizarre.

So my boy came over last night. Poor thing was out drinking late the night before and was BEAT! Came in with eyes half closed. So...washed him, fed him, and put him to bed. It was nice taking care of someone.

This weekend I am going to the Toulouse-Lautrec: The Moulin Rouge and the City of Light exhibit at the Art Institute in Chicago. Should...

I didn't work today...so I laid in bed watching the cast commentary of Lord of the Rings (Fellowship) and special features on the disk pack my boy left for me. I took a break mid-day to go to the store and get lemonade. Yum.

I hopped online a few moments ago...added some favorite picks of SGs...searched the want adds (I find myself in the position...

I tend to obsess on certain ideas about a week at a time. A few weeks ago I was very perplexed, dare I say empathetic, about how cowboys used to deal with hemorrhoids. Im sure they got them, being in the saddle so much. I mean, really, look at the healing options. 1) Take multiple warm water baths per day- yeahdont think they did that....

There wasn't any particular train of thought that prompted the change from cowboys to flag burning. It was simply a news story that caught my attention and changed my focus.

Not that only assholes would care...just that there are so many other things more important...though, true, they might be assholes! wink My other problem with the story is the whole conspiracy theory shit...that the flag burning was smoke and mirrors to draw the media's attention away from other bills being passed that week. Though I would have to do some research to convince myself of this.

Dance floor? Steps? I either missed an implication in my post or you might be confusing me with someone else.

normally you would post a reply on my journal....but as I said, I prefer email or IM.
