I hope that everyone has a safe and very Merry Christmas, or whatever holiday that you all celebrate. Have good cheer and don't drink and drive, lovelies!

Always,

you're totally my twin. I'm pretty sure I have contracted yet another case of strep throat somewhere in the past two days. I'm about off to bed so I can get a good 11 hours of sleep in before working again.
I feel your pain.
I hope you feel better. Take advantage of rest time!

The only thing that sucks about having a Mac is the fact that I can't play Neverwinter Nights frown frown
viva_disgraziata:
best thing about having a mac is that i never play video games.

Pardo's was fab, of course. Watched Dodgeball and played charades, ate pizza, threw things at people, etc. etc. It's always nice to see that group of friends. After all the fun and games, I bowed out early to come home and meet Greg for massages, Pete & Pete, a little Mega 64, and more. It was a good time.

I picked up applications at Pacsun,...

I want to read The Phantom Tollbooth again. I love that book. I miss having the time to read for fun; school is killing me.

I also want to stop...

Broken Social Scene and Feist were more amazing than words.

First, Cameron and I met Feist early in the day at her Borders pre-show. We got her autograph, posed for pictures, and generally salivated. The concert at the Metro took my breath away--I smoked cloves and freaked out to beautiful, happy, up-lifting music. I didn't even care about Cameron angst, didn't even mind the awkwardness...

This is a short story that I wrote for my creative writing class. Opinions?

A Minor
Rosemary Hilliard

Charles stared at his hands, poised like daggers above the ivory keys of the piano. Silence glared back at him, unwavering in emptiness and oppression. Feeling the sweat begin to bead against his palms, Charles foolishly glanced at the small audience gathered in the room, waiting like...

random surfing around - somehow ended up here. (But I'm glad I did.)

Nice story, I love the details: the feel of the piano keys, the pink flowers and blue of the flyer.

I wonder if you'd considered ending it without the resolution of the last two paragraphs. I kind of like the image of him collapsed at the piano. My $.02 anyway. I'm a visual person, so I tend to wrap things up with images. biggrin
