I am SO much better 1 to 1 than speaking at a table of 5 or more. Many people are the opposite.
But, I LIKE who I am. I LIKE being different. I don't want to FAKE. Can I learn something and make some small adjustments that might improve my life without being false? That is the question I am pondering right now.

Do you run? It's amazing how many problems you can solve, ideas you can come up with while you distract yourself from the desire to stop running.
And when you run for a few months, there really is a runner's high. An hour after you finish you feel you could write a symphony, end world terrorism, and hold 50,000 people captive with an off the cuff speech on whatever pops into your head.

i am getting older and somehow less conservative. i seem to remember more dissent and it being ok. now i think they're taking information away. fewer people will choose to disagree with the gov't and i think that's the goal.

not sure how i feel about blogs. i don't want to be self-indulgent.
i don't mind speaking my mind, but it's ok if you don't care what i think or if you think i'm wrong. i will play with this blog thing for a bit and see how it goes...with humility in mind.
i like the hopefuls section better than the posted girls lately -- even if the photography isn't always as good. there i did it. i will think some more and post something else too...maybe more controversial.
