We lost the court case on Friday.

The trucks began rolling in dirt taht night for the desalination plant being built near my home town on the coast.
The site is directly behind the dunes between two of my favourite surf spots.
It will need to be powered 24 hour 7 days a week for the rest of it's working life.
It will be bigger than the MCG and pump highly concentrated salinity straight back into the ocean.
Just so Melbourne can have more water... I understand that we are in an almost drought, but the government would be better off using the $2 billion on something else. And increase the water restrictions to more than 3A..

It is just so sad that a coastline as beautiful and special like this one will be ruined forever because of a kneejerk decision by a failing government. Shit move in my opinion.

It makes me cry and question things. I spent the night at the desalination picket camp at the entry to the new site. Had a good time with the crew there and was devistated when the first truck rolled through. I am sad and disenchanted with things.

Alone and sad I walk on once a sacred land.

Finished design brief and am on to the next one on the list.
I need sleep.
I have homework due tomorrow which I have not even started.
AND.
I have school from 10 till 10 tomorrow.....

But I shall endure.

Drawing is fun.

So I'm in the final stages of a design brief and i can not stop listening to Sympathy For The Devil.
If I could get the tone Keith has in the solo I would be the most happy man on earth.

And.. Whilst driving the two hours back to the city from Cape I was listening to The Beatles 'Love'..
The transition in Being For The Benifit Of Mr. Kite!/I want You (She's So Heavy)/Helter Skelter.. blew my mind!!!
I thought I was off my head. But I listened to it again just then and have realised that it is primo production/fantastic riffery.

Also.. Schubert's Symphony #5 in B Flat is a conduit for my productivity.. Soothing the hyperactivity i think..
