I'm reading this right now. Mr. Gopnick has been a favorite writer of mine for some time and this book's words coincide with that thought nicely. He writes for the New Yorker, which I can say I am a fan of, and many other great editorials. Anyway, just wanted to share those thoughts with you. Oh, the book is about the author and his wife moving to Paris to let their kids grow up in a country that is more removed from American/Western culture. Mostly video games and MTV. I let you know how it ends. I will say this however, I like the thought of having kids outside this country. Especially if it's with cute parisian woman. Or maybe an Italian/Spanish one, Hmm, such options.
Oh how I love you France!
In other news: There is no other news. Thats kind of a sad thought. Although there is that saying, "No news is good news." Not in my case however. I'm bored. New book time!
I do however know that I want to meet someone who I can connect with. Not like sappy, I love you connect, but real connect. O well it wil happen. I think.
So here's the poll people: Pick the city I should move to. Dont forget to include your reasons, k.
1. London.
2. New York.
3. LA
4. San Francisco.
5. Seattle
6. Paris.....Dont know if I'm ready for this one yet!
Anyway thanks for the advice in advance.
Cheers, Reece [poland]
