I just went to a 1980s-themed New Year's party. I decided to dress up as Ozymandias since Watchmen was written, published, and set in the 1980s.

I won myself a nice bottle of Patron silver.

I fly back to the US early tomorrow morning. Three months of normalcy before I return here to Moscow for more research.

Well, tomorrow morning I'm off to Moscow again for yet another research trip. I'l be there October-December and then I'll have a second trip there from April-June.

I'll still check SG but I'll be as inactive as I usually am.

I hope everyone had a pleasant May Day! I'm back in Moscow doing research. I've been here for a month and I'll be here for two more months. A nasty cold (or crazy Russian plague of some sort) kept me from going out to do anything special.

In other news, I fear that I will be booting people from my Facebook "friends" list after this whole Osama bin Laden affair. It really brought the stupid/crazy out of some fucktards.

I'm off to Belize, Guatemala, and Honduras for two weeks.
