So in the last week I read two books: The God Delusion (Richard Dawkins latest atheist masterpiece) and Freakonomics (the updated/revised practical application of economic principles).
On the idea of resolutions -- I'm working hard at them as they are hard work.
I suppose I was a bit serious; my normal response would have been to note something I have no plan of doing stop masturbating or something I largely want but shouldn't do sleep with another woman because she lied and said it would be ok.

New Year's Eve was tame, but nice. Only a handful of friends stopped by the house. Initially I ignored the banter of "resolutions." Normally I think that's for the birds.
Upon furthur introspection, I think some things have revealed themselves to me. I would like to try for a few personal modifications -- life hacks so to speak -- for the new year:
