Well I'm done here, interesting experiment, but life goes on. I wish you well.
Edited to add that it might just be for awhile. I need to know what life without SG is like.

Well, this was one for my records. I almost slipped and hurt myself at work in a really bad way. I figured I got off lucky with a sore ankle and hip until I slipped again not long after, though not so badly, and was reminded of my frailty which had just been shoved in my face.
That wasn't enough, though, A block from work my ride got t-boned. It was the worst wreck I've been in since I was three. (Not including sports injuries) Miraculously everyone was okay; a minor abrasion, some bruises, a few tweaked joints. Looking at that car I was in... I figure to have survived today, I must be blessed (knock on wood).
Also, I bowled for the second time in 13 years (last time was a few years ago under the influence a half-gallon of tequila and a lot of beer). I even got two strikes. That was fun.
Also, I can't wait to see my most interesting love-interest. Will it still be the same? Or is she fickle? Am I? No, I'm not so much, actually... Yeah, I deserve something worthwhile for a fucking change.
Oh yeah, almost forgot: the homeless guy on the way home. He had some sob story, probably was a user though he said he'd been clean for two years. I bought him some food at the quicky mart. This was probably the most charitable act I've performed. Whatever; at least he had something resembling a meal this morning.

Ever had one of those days where nothing went wrong but somehow it still ended up being a shitty day? Yeah, I had one. Not that it matters; I've had more than my fair... wait... Not that it matters because I've had my share of good days lately, and I'm grateful for that. Those. Whatever.
I bought new sheets for the first time ever today, they are flannel and oh-so-comfy, I am most proud. I had to take a nap just to test them out. I also bought some small yet nifty kitchen gadgets.
I went to a metal/punk house party in West Seattle which rocked with many good bands and free beer, then I went to the Abe Vigoda and had fried rice and more beers (which weren't free) and then followed the birthday party (there was birthday party of friends and friend's friends at the bar) back to the Pink Haus where I drank beer which was inexpensive. All in all it was great night; I met and re-met a lot of people and heard some good music and had some good times. Yay, me.

So it snowed in Seattle tonight. It's fairly rare and so it's kind of magical when it does happen. I was at work when it started and had hoped to be able to walk home through the snow but, alas, when I left it was raining. Cold and raining. That I could handle; it's expected of Seattle winters, but then it turned to slush and was just semi-frozen fucking rain. Yeah... cooooold and wet. But somehow it turned back into snow and I had one of the coolest experiences ever. The Space Needle has these spot-light around the base which shine upward towards the top and looking at this bizarre tower with snow slowly drifting down trough the lights... well, I can't relay what it looked like but it was very cool. I can definately say I was grateful for everything that conspired to give me this one moment of beauty.
Yeah... I'm bad. But it feels so good! I spent way too much money on DVDs this morning, but I got the extended version of Two Towers (43 extra minutes!), Iron Monkey (my first kung-fu purchase), and Memento (the last artsie flick I wanted to own). So, yeah 'scuse me while I finish this fine (very fine actually) beer and watch those.
Is it bad that it strikes me as unlikely --though lovely-- that this woman I kinda dig kinda digs me too?
Where am I goin'?! Where am I goin', PEOPLE?! Ah, nevermind.
In other news I'm trying to write a good book. Not like the Bible, but good none-the-less.

I'm thinking I want to get out of Seattle for a couple of days... maybe go to Portland or even just Bellingham.
