MEMBER SINCE: December 2003
occupation: performing artist
stats: Engaged
gets me hot: hentai, erotic fiction, satin, thongs, Pink
sign: Liontamer
makes me happy: My almost-hubby, chocolate, and goofy 80s cartoons.
crush: Johnny Depp
fantasy: I'd love to invite a couple of friends up to a cozy mountain retreat and openly have sex with our respective partners. No swinging, just a deep appreciation of eachother's little lovemaking rituals.
i lost my virginity: at this bed and breakfast called Kathy's Cottage. Two hours of fun, but after all was said and done, I got the newlywed infection. So sad!
most humbling moment: 11th grade, during a band festival at Myrtle Beach, I got ditched by my supposed friends and then preceeded to get lost at an amusement park. They had to send out search parties and I made my whole school late for the award ceremony.
body mods: Afraid of needles, allergic to piercings. So sad. Ballpoint pen is thy friend.
makes me sad: My ex-boyfriends and other compulsive liars
I just got back from this place called "Bridges," a very hip pool hall with a bar, restaurant lounge area, and dance floor. A DJ was mixing a ton of eighties rock and pop for our listening pleasure. I had fun, although nobody who said they were going to show up arrived on time, and I had to leave right as people started coming in. I wanted to stick around, but my head was swimming from the cigarette smoke. Which leads me to ask, why do so many people smoke? I don't personally smoke anything besides the occasional hukka because I have asthma, I like the idea of keeping my teeth white, smoking is a costly habit, and most importantly---I don't want to die.
After being at the bar/pool hall for a little over an hour, I had to bathe with heavy perfumes, wash my hair twice, and put my coat in the washer. The purse needs febreezing, and the smoke still lingers in my nostrils. Its pretty nasty. I mean, I know nicotine is relaxing for some people. I know for my friend Laura, it's even a medical necessity (it's proven to help prevent epileptic seizures). But most of the population doesn't HAVE to smoke for medical reasons. It kind of annoys me that I can't go anywhere "fun" for very long because I get choked up. If I go to Jaxx or any of the cool music clubs around here, and I decide to stay for a couple of sets, I wake up the next morning with a sinus infection that lingers for days on end. And it sucks, because all my friends are "starving artists" and its like they HAVE to have cigarettes and dress all in black just to match the stereotype society has given them. But seriously, why smoke?
Excuse me while I go get my inhaler....my apologies to my friends for not...
