This may be a long one.... feel free to respond... I'm just venting.
So, I'm dating this girl from work ... This cute little thing that's a total spitfire. She's different (no, not my kind of different) which is totally cool but I think I need some help understanding her. This all started I want to say two weeks ago. We had talked off and on for a few months. We hang out on break and everything but she started emailing me which was cool about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Well, two weeks ago she sent me this kind of cryptic email. I'm not one to decifer things so I asked her what she ment by the email and she totally caught me off guard. She said she wanted to date. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do this with a co-worker (no, we don't work in the same department but it's the philosophy "Don't shit in your own backyard...) Cool! It took me a few hours but after doing some soul searching (and taking into cosideration my last relationship with a member of the same sex...) I said sure. Well, we went out that Thursday (it was great... she met me in front of my apartment *something I never do with guys cause they may be psycho* and we went to the bar around the corner. she brought me flowers, was very very luvy which was cool and we spent the rest of the night rocking out to the band that was playing). It was a very good time. We went out again that Saturday and it was even better. The chemistry was off the hook.
Now, I know how she is... very sweet and loving but my question is, what do women want in a relationship? I know what I want but I'm not the typical female. I know that may be a bit sexist but what do women expect from other women in a relationship. I value honesty, a good heart and playfulness. But is there more to that?
Also, I have another dilemma. My friend isn't too keen on same sex relationships. I think if she could, she'd be a full time gay basher. Now, I know that she says that she doesn't care about a persons sexual orientaion, what she says...
