Let me see where are we now?

Well weekend in Edinburgh was nice but went damn quick!

Suzy's Mum is out of the Hospital and is on the mend which is good.

Got a new bed from Ikea last week which nearly killed me, getting the mattress upstairs was like Laurel & Hardy pushing the piano up the steps or the PG Tips Chimps moving the piano. However it has proved the theory that given enough brute force anyhting is possible. When I come to move however, I'm getting in the professionals in to shift the bugger because I doubt that I could get it downstairs again.

What else? Well I've got something nice planned for Suzy's Birthday, but that's all I can say about that aty the moment.

Apparently she's booked us away again somewhere for the August Bank Holiday for my Birthday...Fantastic!

Bit worried about Webster at the moment as he seems to be acting funny and his belly looks a little distended? Hopefully it's something and nothing but I fear a trip to the Vet may be on the cards, bugger.

Right that's all I can think of for now.

Oh dear it would seem that I've gotton very lacklustre in the update department! 3 weeks without an update bloody pathetic.

Let's see, well everything is hunkdory with Suzy, though she's had some ups and downs of late as her Mum is in the hospital having an op'.

She's very kindly booked us a weekend away in Edinburgh for the upcomming Bank Holiday Weekend, which is rather nice of her, though I have something equally nice lined up for her birthday in July (all will be revealed at a later and more suitable date!).

Feeling a bit bastardly because off the time i'm spending over at Suzy's is making Webster feel a bit neglected, trying my best to make sure that I give him enough fuss time.

Right that'll just have to do for now.

Okay, so what's new?

Well had a smashing time in North Carolina with Suzy. What a difference from my other trips to the States. Nice to see a bit of the non touristy places.

Webster was all over me when I went to collect him from the cattery, which made a change from last time!

Back to work tomorrow, which considering I've only put in about five days in the last month can't be that bad

Met the parents and... Well they're really nice and Suzy says on the QT that they like me (which is understandable, after all I am very likeable!).

Don't know if I'll regret this financially but what the hell, I've booked myself on the same flight as Suzy to the USA in a weeks time. She suggested it yesterday, as she's already paid for a hotel and car, I've only had to lay out for a flight. Of course the downside means checking Webster into the cattery again, which he didn't like at all last time, but it wouldn't be fair on My Dad or My friends to ask them to look after him while I'm away and it's only a week this time not a fortnight.

So a week on Thursday I'm off to America again! Never anticipated that I'd be back there again so soon after last year!

What a strange week. Highs and lows really.
Caught and saw off a bad cold, though was dragged into work to write a report, not a happy bunny!

Then received some really bad news on Wednesday, My cousin Anthony died aged 39. He had Downs Syndrome and although I know that people with downs aren't expect to live very long lives it's still a very upsetting thing, especially as his folks had planned a big 40th party for July. He was without doubt the kindest and most thougtfull person I've ever had the privillidge to know, family get togethers won't be the same and I wonder how my Aunt & Uncle will cope now after basing their lives around his completely for the last 40 years?

Yesterday I managed to slam my own head in the car door a la vinne jones/Lock Stock, don't try that at home kids trust me it hurts and you feel very stupid espcially when its in an open air car park outside Halfords on a busy main road in the centre of Manchester. My glasses ended up bent out of shape in a comedy stylee, and I was dizzy for a bit, had to go fro a sit down and coffee in the Borders nearby what a klutz!

Tomorrow night I meet Suzy's Mum & Dad for the first time and got to say more than a little nervous at the prospect! I can only hope that they're as nice and easy to get along with as she is.

Oh dear I have been lax of late haven't I?

Well the blame can be laid fully at the door of the Lovely Suzy and I'm not afraid to state for the recors the the BIG "L" thing is definitely happening!

Meeting her folks a week on Saturday eek

Went on 2nd Date with Suzy the Teacher last Friday for a meal and....got home Sunday!!!!

I must admit from the way we'd been in toch since the 1st date I had a feeling that taking an overnight bag might have been on the cards, however I really didn't see me spending the whole weekend.

Things are going so well it's quite scary, but she feels the same way.

Seeing her tomorrow and staying over again, getting some funny looks from Webster, I'm expecting the whole you treat this house like a bloody hotel thing from him, though I'm sure he's only jealous because he fancies her too

Cancelled my subscription to Dating Direct

Well things have got interesting again.Okay so she's another schoolteacher...But this one's different I'm sure. She's ticking all my boxes and everything that is crossable is crossed. It's been a flurry of email, and texts and we just ended up going out for dinner last night and she seems keen. Very clever, charming attractive and damn interesting, and Webster likes her too so she's passed the Cat test!

Fingers toes and eyes crossed this one works out

Went round to my Mates last night where he had a rough cut of what will no doubt prove to be the most annoying football related song ever.

I have seen this years Crazy Frog.
