Last night was amazing and ridiculous all rolled into one. My baby brother turned 20 which means he's no longer a teen. We celebrated by getting shit-faced together, compliments of the dance party the venue we work for, Bronx Underground and their new Friday Night Dance Party called Revolution! which is like a little piece of the Lower East Side in the South Bronx.

The reason we were at the venue instead of somewhere else drinking (aside from free drinks, of course), was because wiL Francis of Aiden was hanging, doing a DJ set, and then performing with his new side project, William Control. He is an awesomely nice guy, even after I yelled at him. And while his music was kind of lol-worthy, it was pretty danceable. I'm down with that.
In closing, we had a pretty good time. Hello, SG. How are you?
Working is so lame.
Where I work is a 15 minute car ride from my house. On the bus it takes me roughly an hour and a half.
And the bus I have to take only runs once an hour. So if I miss it? Fucked.
Boo, world. Boo.
PS - What is everyone going to be for Halloween? I'm trying to think of something juicy.

Good Morning.

I decided to mess around with my Photobooth a little bit. No makeup. No editing. Just me.
If you flip through it quickly, it's like watching an old movie of my life.
Check it out. Leave me nice comments.

I highly suggest, if you're into music and shenanigans, that you check out my music blog:

It's ridiculously entertaining because I have the most ridiculous encounters with people sometimes.
Also, as a sidenote, still havent been able to shoot with Brooklyn yet. Hopefully, soon!
Anyone in the NYC area know anyone who will hook me up with a discounted price on a big tattoo on my side?
Or better yet, anyone know anyone in NYC who will hire me? I need a job like whoa.

best conversation ever:
her: so true. and it turns out i am a lightweight
me: nothing wrong with being a lightweight. it just means you have to pay less for drinks. which is a good thing since drinks here are $8-$12 a pop.
her: that is ridic. how does anyone afford it?
me: blowjobs to the bartenders or trustfunds.
her: i see you don't have a trust fund.
me: after a few drinks you don't even taste the blowjobs anymore.

In light of having to get a "real" job, I had to take my snakebites out. I also had to take the red out of my hair, and since it was gross and dead, I cut most of it off. Myself. I like it, even if I look far too "grown up" and my face looks fat in this picture.
(PS, dont worry, my septum ring is still there - I keep it hidden)
It's finally here! YAY!! I'm the Pink Lady in the black skirt. I am so stoked on this video.
EDIT: HAHA I love everyone in my life. So epic. One of my friends just made me this:

The Remnants of Warped Tour
Every year I feel more and more disconnected from the crowds at those shows. I only go for a (very) select few people/bands, and the crowd is getting younger and younger, while the music gets worse and worse. Granted, I do enjoy a decent amount of the "warped tour" bands, but they're not generally people I want to shell over a lot of cash for.
This year, once again, I knew some people on the tour so I didn't have to worry about paying too much money for people I didn't care about. However. Karma is a bitch.
I had the sleeve of my wallet (not the whole wallet, mind you. Just the sleeve) that contains my credit cards and bank cards stolen right out of my purse. Major bumfest. Never fear. Most of my funds have since been returned to me.
THAT ASIDE, I still had a fantastic time. I spent almost all of my time in the not for profit area (make sure to check out the Boarding for Breast Cancer booth - ask for jasmine, donate a dollar, and tell her Cc sent you!), I got a gigantic welt on my leg thanks to a Razor Scooter to the shin while setting the booths up early in the a.m. (the aftermath in the photo above is from well over a week later), I got attacked with water guns, I got to harass friends in bands I hadn't seen in ages, I was in turn attacked by a stranger from a band I didn't know (which was HI-larious) and best of all, i got to do it all for free. Can't beat that price.
I wish I would have stayed all four days like I was originally planning.
This week, I have a set to shoot with the amazing Brooklyn. I can't wait.
Oh my little baby jesus this is what my schedule looks like right now:
Monday - Thursday of this week - Various doctor and daycare appointments. Every. Single. Day. Sometimes two a day.
Friday (Tomorrow) - Last minute Warped Tour shopping for necessities for my friends (toiletries, alcohol...cupcakes), baking, food shopping. Dinner and drinks with my friend who is in from Alberta, Canada - I havent seen her in 6 years!
Saturday - Warped Tour from 6 am - whenever. Helping the venue, I work for - The Bronx Underground - because they have their own booth this year, sticking BXUG shirts guerrilla style on certain members of certain bands, helping the Boarding For Breast Cancer booth where my friend works, possibly seeing some craptastic music, and OH YEAH drinking.
Sunday - Laundry/Hangover Recovery Day. Keep in mind I'll be doing laundry for like 6 people. Bleh.
Monday - Dr Appts.
Tuesday - Daycare Appt quickly followed by filming for MTV's FNMTV again - doing commentary is so much fun when the music doesnt suck. Unfortunately, the music usually sucks.
Wednesday - ANOTHER appt.
Thursday - ONE MORE appt.
Friday - HOPEFULLY I'll be shooting with the amazing Brooklyn for a set that is going to make you all fall in love/lust/whatever with me. BRING IT ON, SG.
Just looking at this...I need a break.
