I haven't felt like celebrating my birthday the past couple of years but this year was different. Actually while approaching the birthday I still didn't feel like celebrating at all but my girlfriend changed that and I ended up having the best birthday in a long time. It was so great it lasted two days.
Day one involved going to Six Flags Great America which was a lot of fun. Because it was overcast the majority of the day and it actually rained for a brief time the park was not very full so we never had to wait very long for the rides. I'm still looking for that roller coaster that will make me scream or bring actual fear to me. I really don't understand why people get so scared on these things and the other rides. When the bolts shear and the cart is actually falling to the ground then I'll scream or cry or something but otherwise I just end up laughing the whole time. It IS supposed to be fun. I also got to spend some time with my little brother who I haven't seen much of lately, mostly due to some arguments that happened after my accident. It was nice to see him and with his new girlfriend it seems as though he is pretty happy.
Day two was habachi dinner and back to back movie night! I'm a vegetarian but I actually started to eat fish again
and I do feel bad about it but for some reason I haven't cut it out and to be completely honest hibachi lobster, scallops, shrimp and salmon was delicious. Then we saw UP in 3D which was great, well except for the 3D part. I'd highly recommend seeing it in 2D as the movie didn't really seem to be intended for a 3D experience and for some reason fast image, maybe because it's computer animation, don't transfer smoothly to the 3D. Some scenes were choppy. Otherwise it was an excellent movie but far from Pixar's best. Certain elements to the story seem like they could and should have been developed a little more but the writing was still excellent...

I actually bought these with my bday monies but now I regret it. The pants are actually quite excellent but after I purchased them I found these
online which look like the best knickers EVAH! Oh well, I suppose I can save up for them.
which is almost bottomless and will hold much more than my Mini Metro Chrome. I still love my Chrome though.
