Ahoy there. I started a new job recently at Sisters of Mercy health systems in the IT dept. supporting a bunch of asshole doctors and bitchy nuns. There was a girl murdered at St. Johns hospital last week which is a Mercy hospital. There were a bunch of internal emails about privacy and not talking to anyone about what happened because police hadn't released the victims name yet.
I found this especially distasteful because in the emails they disclosed the young woman's name. Their idea of keeping things private was sending out a company wide email giving away her name. It turns out the next day police arrested her estranged husband. Now the victim has been released to the public.
On a side, but still related note. Why is it the media finds the dumbest people on the planet to comment on issues like this. Whichever local channel I was watching showed some hoosier woman saying " you come to the hospital to get healed not keeled".
Time for more Lego Harry Potter.
