i have one week left until i start my new job.
i'm both excited and sad about the whole thing.
i've been at my current job for 6 years and that is the longest i have been anywhere in my life.

so as a bunch of you know i have been working at a book store at the Eaton Centre for the past 5 and a half years.
well today i got a good phone call. i've been promoted to Cash Supervisor! Woot!
the only sad thing is the position is at the book store at the Yorkdale mall. so i will be leaving my home base and team that i have been with for almost 6 years. And those of you that stop by to say hello to me will no longer find me there.
but it's going to be sooo great! i'm not sure when i will start the new job, i'm guessing by the end of next week.
WOOT!

and in other less exciting news i gave myself bangs.

so who doesn't like a big t-bone steak behind their ear?
not me, that's for sure.



got this done at the Toronto tattoo convention just over a week ago.
i was supposed to have an appointment with Dan Rick, but he didn't have a passport and couldn't get into Canada.
lame.
so i got this done by Adrien from Love Hate Tattoo out of Rochester new york.
pretty rad.

i've also been pretty lazy as my camera's batteries died like a week ago and i have yet to get new ones.

i'm also in the middle of planning a trip to LA come the end of the summer and have to be broke and save every penny that i can so i will have money to spend there.
i'm pretty excited about the trip.
i'm thinking of staying in West Hollywood.
anyone know of anything i should do while i'm there?
i've been reading travel guides like crazy (benefits of working in a book store )

*that my boyfriend will be home soon after being at his Grandma's.

*seeing my friend ami who sneaked home early from being in the states.

*i get AC on tomorrow.

*going to see the new M. Night Shyamalan movie on friday.

*the toronto tattoo convention is going down this weekend and i have an appointment with dan rick.

*the fact that i have the entire weekend off work.

*i'll have batteries for my real camera again.

*the fact that my ipod is still hanging in there, even though every time i turn it on i have to pray.

*summer is in full swing and i fuckin love it!

*my boyfriend bought me some beer and it's sitting in my fridge.

i've been trying to buy a new pair of shoes. after wearing only (and i mean only) chuck taylors for almost 2 years, the task is harder then you would think. i would really like a cute pair of black flats to have this summer, but for some reason it seems almost impossible. maybe i am looking in the wrong places and yes i have tried shoes stores.

i could really use some tea in me and do some more crushing on Mary-Kate before bed.

the toronto tattoo convention is this weekend. i'm super excited. thanks to the wonders of the internet i have an appointment set up with dan rick who is coming in from michigan. so i really can't wait.
anyone else going to be there. i haven't looked to see if there is going to be an SG booth or such yet.



i went and saw die mannequin last weekend! holy rad show! although at the end they kind of showed off their mad skills and just rocked out forever! it was kind of like, yeah we get it...you're in a rock band.

i got me a ticket to see Die Mannequin i'm pretty excited to see them.
although on the radio they refered to them as sleaze rock.
so fuck yeah...sleaze rock.

i'm also hoping that the stars are all in a line or something so that i can get a sex and the city ticket.
my friend sara and i are just going to show up at the theater in the mid afternoon and if they are not sold out then we will go and see it.
i've been watching the series on DVD every night so i will be all caught up.

oh oh and i almost bough a pair of wicked heels tonight that were 60% off but they didn't have the size i needed.
they had every single other size accept the one i needed.

so i am currently trying to revamp my etsy shop.
i have made a bunch of jewelry i am slowly putting up.

there is something about white sheets that make me want to stay in bed all day

so my trip to the hospital was...well a trip.

me and Ian_G arrived at East York General hospital around 9pm.
i was checked in and told to wait in the waiting room.
surprisingly the room was fairly empty and my name was called before 9:30pm.
I was told to change into one of the wonderful hospital dressing gowns and had to give a blood and urine sample.

Then we waited...and waited...and waited.

So we were called at 9:30pm and the doctor showed up at...1:30am.
fucking crazy.

So she came in and examined me and said that were i was having the most pain didn't seem like my appendix was in trouble but maybe more my female inside parts.
So she gave me a pap test and said my cervix seemed red and inflamed.
She told me to get dressed ans she would come back with some pills for me to take.

So she came back with a bottle of pills and told me by test results will be ready wed.
so luckily it wasn't my appendix and i don't need surgery and hopefully the pills she gave me will clear up what i have.

This morning was the first morning in about 4 days that i have woken up and not noticed pain.

so sine i am feeling better i thought i would throw in some pictures.
