Many news articles have spoken on the topic of, breastfeeding and, I looked in topics here but didn't find what I was thinking on. So if there is one and I overlooked, missed... I apologise in advance.... But I know the topic is a heated one, some are for it, others against, still some like myself are in the middle. Middle, I say, because I BELIEVE in acts of discretion when it comes to public feedings. Not just opening up and boobs out feeding time! My beliefs are Yes, feed the child when called for... But... Let's have some courtesy and self awareness for others. Not to mention let's keep pervy eyes from prying shall well🤔😮
The latest issue I seen with feeding a child in public was on an airline. A woman was asked to not feed her baby, while the plane was taxiing down the runway for take off. She was asked by the flight team to stop and for SAFETY REASONS, place the child in it's seat, UNTIL safe to remove. She declined saying it was her right and did not want to disturb the child and cause it to become irritable.... Long story short, refusal on her part caused a disturbance and she along with child was subsequently removed.
My question(s) are, where does one draw the line when it comes to feedings in public? Is there a right time, wrong time, cover up or not? Please, feel free to comment and express opinions... Even those who are SG mom's out there, love to hear from you point of view
