Egh. Fall break (2 extra days off) is over and I am no more productive than I was last Thursday. I read two things for school and am still three chapters behind in my psych textbook that reads like scraping my eyeballs with dirt.
I drank way too much super caffeinated double strength tea at the laundromat tonight. We had to run our 4 washers of clothes and bed sheets and towels (there were two of us though) through the washers twice to get rid of all the soap goobies. It was very annoying and then we played a game to test which type of dryer works the best, by running them for seven minutes each at a time and then checking to see how wet our clothes were.
Mine won.
If by won you mean that half my clothes are still wet from being in the other dryer and are now lying all over every free surface in my room.
Also, I managed to make it the library after my initial defeat at the parking lot stairs this morning. I started to go, I convinced myself that it was better for me to go, and then turned around, stood on the stairs feeling torn between knowing whats best and needing to feel good about life. And so I went back to my car, drove back to my house, and sat here at the table being very unproductive but happy because my roommate who was stranded in CA made it home before 5.
Also I made it back to lib and did homework and very important (seriously) readings for classes and squeezed the eyeball stress ball my mom sent me.
Also my cell phone rang and the girl at the next table laughed becuase it was the loud intro to Back in Black.
I had miso soup for dinner and it was good.
Also, while sitting at the coffee shop by the laundromat my roommate and I poured (is this right spelling/meaning?) over the color/fabric swatches I got from AmericanApparel and discussed new color combinations for the next round of prints. She got excited with me and that was something that made me happy. Also, when we realized we needed a lot more quarters to run the washers a second time, I had to go to WildOats down the strip and buy something to get cash back (so I wouldn't have $20 in quarters) and I got some black cahosh to help make my period come. It tastes strong like it will work (this is a flawed theory, yes, but fine for the moment).
I am going to bed now and will be very tired tomorrow after my four day weekend of sleeping until noon and staying in bed until 2.
