As I get on in years, it occurs to me that most of my life has been spent focusing on the negatives. So today I'd like to talk good and discuss some of my favorite things. In no particular order.
Number one: Fried chicken and Entenmann's chocolate frosted donuts. If you think those are 2 things, screw you. I don't care. When I was at film school, living the broke life, I used to go to the local grocery store and shove chicken and donuts into my pockets. It was a very special time.
Number, The sequel: Movies. Films. Flicks. The pictures. Whatever you call them. I have literally seen thousands of movies in my life. Asking which is my favorite is an exercise in futility. Even claiming a favorite genre is impossible. As a child, friendless and sad, movies were my escape. My way to belong somewhere. There's no explanation for the emotional connection I have with movies. I mean, I still cry at the end of Teen Wolf.
Number Three (times a lady): Women. I don't have a particular "type". Older. Younger. Short. Tall. Cute. Thin. Chubby. Beautiful. Funny. Smart. Interesting. Talented. Sexy. Romantic. Short hair. Long hair. Tattooed. Pierced. Redhead. Blonde. Brunette. Big sparkly eyes. Pouty lips. Lovely smile. Crooked teeth. Girly. Tomboyish. Foul mouthed. Nerdy. Kooky. Cuddly. Obviously, a ton of SG's fall into these categories. Admittedly, I obsess over a few. Some more than others, and one I've been crushing on hard for almost 10 years. *cough*Glitch*cough*
Number 4 legged friend: My dog. I have a 10 year old Australian Blue Heeler that is everything to me. He can be a super huge asshole (just like me), but he means more to me than anything. If I was dating someone and she told me "It's me or the dog", it's gonna be the dog. I love all animals more than I like most people anyway, but mine is the best, most beautiful boy ever. *Note to self- Grab a sample of his DNA next time we're at the vet so I can clone him after he's gone.
That's all I've got for now. Just wanted to release some positive energy today.
