Thank you all for the bday well wishes. I enjoyed it, and will be sharing a dinner celebrating Melli's & my bdays Saturday. Yay! As you get older I guess it turns more into bday month, rather than just your birthday.
What have I done over the last couple months... Hmmm
Saw the Violent Femmes in Vegas... they kicked ass!
Saw Staind & 3 Doors Down ...
3 Doors was just ok (which is weird, because I loved their live CD) Staind however, kicked total ass.
Saw Tom Petty and the Black Crowes... awesome show... I cant believe it took me this long to see them.
Moved to Elk Grove... My "cool" landlord in Rocklin made some bad decisions and became a financially strapped ignorant bitch (no, I'm not opinionated)... but my landlord here, rocks.
Went to Reno, Tahoe & Virginia City for my bday with Jen... lost WAY yoo much cash gambling... damn 3 card poker... I thought I had a foolproof system... but Virginia City was totally cool... real old west feeling, and its a trip checking out graves from the 1800's... eye opening though, most people back then, there, didnt make it past their 30's.
And saw the Black Keys at the Filmore Tuesday night. If you appreciate music, you NEED to see these guys. They are simply fucking amazing. There are two of them, and you would swear there is an entire band. And no, they dont lay down shit electronically... they just rock!
Not much else... work finally replaced the flake, and our project is moving (yay!) so no more BS there.
Oh, and my buddy launched 5 new Reggae stations off his site... so if you are into Reggae check them out and enjoy enjoy!
One Love
