I got kicked out of a bar last night.
Now I know those of you familiar with my drunken shenanigans are not really surprised, but I am. As amazing as it sounds I am 33, have been drinking in bars for a good 13 years and last night was the first time I have been 86'd from a bar.
Ever.
Sure, there have been times where I left just before I would have been booted and more then once I have fled a bar in the throws of some form of violence but I have never been told to leave a public house.
I'm actually kinda pissed over it, like really pissed.
Vengeance pissed.
The worst part is it was over me ringing a bell and upsetting the woman playing music. The bell I rung once at the request of a companion. The 'artist' yelled at me so I shot her the bird, she obviously did not understand that she was playing in a crowded bar and not a concert venue. In a bar the musical act is not why people are there, people are there to drink beer, have fun and make noise. When you play a bar it's going to be loud, you should get over it. Especially one ring of a bell.
Whatever, I thought it was stupid on her part to get that upset but it takes all kinds and i can understand her issue. I put my bell away and returned to my beer and conversation. A few minutes later the bouncer comes up and tells us to leave, and here we get to why I am pissed. The guy came up to me and started a aggro conversation when there was no problem anymore. The issue had passed and no one was upset, until he got there. Of course things went a little south there but long story short the guy sucked as a bouncer and I will never return to the California Clipper again.
