Woot! My first drunken blog on suicide girls..

spent most of the day walking through a burned forest.. anyone who says fire destroys the forest seriously needs to go look for themselves. sooo much life springing up everywhere! Even inspired me to write a haiku (and I'm hardly a poet)

Rising from ashes
Fly swiftly on bitter wind
New beginnings dawn

well, fuck it.. I did say i'm not much of a poet, but the inspiration hit while I was there, so I figured I'd run with it.

Only another month here in the mountains, then back to the city again.. mixed feelings about this, but at least I'll be able to see live music again.. It's been too fuckin long. Get to see the suicide girls in action tommorrow though, and I'm fuckin' stoked about that... I hope Calgary's ready for me!
