Loooong time since I posted something here at SG...
Well, in Sweden there's some crazy shit going on. A political party named "Sverige Demokraterna" (Sweden Democrats), is going to make in to parliament next election according to the latest polls. Believe me when I say these "Democrats" ain't nothing like the ones you're used to i the US.
To qoute their party leader in a debate article in Swedens largest newspaper:
"Islam is the largest foreign threat to Sweden since WWII". Generalizing anyone?
Furthermore they want to reinstate "traditional western, christian values" in to Sweden. What does that even mean? Stoning of the blasphemous? Persecution of homosexuals, Jews, Muslims, atheists, women and other? Or just the need to moralize over people in general? Which is bad enough!
I could go on and on with strange and crazy shit like this but I think you get the idea already.
Anyone know of a good, and reasonably sane, country to seek political asylum in if they should get in to Parliament?
