ok, soooooo.......
its been ONE YEAR to the day, since i had my last cigarette.
im officially going on record to state: "im a non-smoker" whooo hoooo!
actually, my last newport was march 31st 2008, but i wanted to reflect the first day i went clean. it hasnt been easy but i think cold turkey was the best possible way for me. i tried the patch back in 1998 and i quite for about 10 months. life got stressful and i started up again. i think this time im solid, especially after seeing what the prices are at these days

in other news, the patio container garden has been planted. well, mostly. im growing mostly from seeds this year so im waiting on the lil seeds to germinate and grow up before transplanting outside. i did plant two tomatoes and one red pepper plant.

got up this morning and cast my vote for Obama and NO on PROP 8 & 4.

one of my really good friends justin, is a long time detroit red wings fan.
im a fan of all things Pittsburgh. cant help it, its hereditary.
usually ill spend the post hockey season with justin and cheering on the wings. not this year. anyway, we plan to host a BBQ at whoever has home ice advantage. so tomorrow, its at justins house. i can almost guarantee he will think its funny to cook nothing but chicken wings. i got surprises for him though. like, life size gary roberts posters. sweeet. im pretty excited. hey, even Jim Leyland is excited. ha.

im at the point where im going to just start telling people im not voting this year. everyone has some type of agenda. as soon as i mention (or asked) im voting for obama, someone decides to make it their personal mission to explain (argue) why im wrong in my choice. i dont give a fuck. these are the same people that would slam a door in the face of a door to door jesus rocker, but for some reason dont see the similarity in preaching their views to me. i might just start saying something like, im writing in Gary Roberts for President

ahh, last weekend in santa cruz was amazing. weather was awesome. shadowbrook even honored our gift certificate that was like, three years expired. pizza my heart makes the best late night pizza. must go back soon.
