I'm not going to lie, he was a brat because we spoiled him rotten. He was playful to the point of being obnoxious. But he was cuddly and had one of the softest coats of any cat I'd owned.

I got a call about half and hour ago. My ex-wife found him dead this morning. No clue why, the only thing we can think is that his heart condition caused his heart to give out. I haven't seen him a lot over the last 2 years because my ex had custody. I saw him last weekend because my ex watched my dog for me. I didn't take the time to stop and play with him because I was in a rush. Fucking stupid. Two minutes. A minute. Just a quick pet down his back. No, I had to go. Now he's gone and I can't pet him anymore.
