After a terrible ordeal at the airport Sunday, where our flight was delayed by 5 hours, we made it home at 7:30. I had two games (8:45 & 10:30), but I only made it to one. It was okay though because my good friend Max was able to find someone to cover for me in the first game.
I played well in the second game, but I was very concious about my fresh ink. I didn't want to prematurely peel the scabs that had formed and destroy the hard work. But they held up very well. My "Goalie" tattoo is gorgeous, and my Sugar Girl that I've named Maria is in heavy peel mode at this point. She is in full color (pictures will be posted soon), and the colors are becoming more vibrant as she peels.
I honestly feel so much sexier and more myself as I keep adding new pieces. The fact that I had to put my Sugar Girl on my leg, really opened up a whole new dimension for me. I feel like it should have always been there. My legs look so much sexier! I absolutely cannot wait to get more!! I'm hoping to make an appointment next week with Rob Thomas from Psycho Tattoo, here in GA so I can touch up my roses on my chest and perhaps get a new piece.
For healing, I've gone back to using my Dial Antibacterial soap bar (the one with Aloe because my skin is very sensitive to their regular bar), and using H2Ocean Tattoo lotion. I seriously love that stuff. It helped heal my roses better after they were nearly destroyed by using Aquaphor. That stuff is a nightmare!
Anywho, in other news, I was offered to write and record a song for a friend of mine who was a dj. He composed this awesome Pop/Dance track that is just amazing! I cannot wait to get cracking on that and come up with something for him!
Ugh, I better get to bed...class in the A.M.
Night night!
