Trouble seems to follow me like a fucking bad smell, I tell you!
Now, my brother's just split with his wife, and they have a
1 year old Daughter, who his ex is refusing to let him see.
I had him over my place yesterday, storing his belongings
in my garage until he can find a place of his own, and he
is in such...

Sorry it's been quite a while since my last Journal update here (not that anyone reads these anyway, I think most of the time I write them for myself).
My trip up north went alright, until I actually ARRIVED there, and met my Mother when I got off the plane.
She had deteriorated beyond belief. Her hair was pure white, as I had never seen...

Oh well, here goes another one.
One more night here in Blenheim before I fly out to Auckland and from the country town to the big smoke again.
Somehow, I am dreading going back there, even if it is only for a week - I left behind so many terrible things when I left there - heroin addiction, alcoholism, bad friends etc...
I guess this...

Alright it is now Tuesday 29th of July.
3:23AM.
I cannot sleep, I don't know why, and I don't really care because I don't think sleep would cure me.
I've tried writing, tried drinking, tried getting warm, tried watching tv, tried listing to music. Nothing's relaxed me, so no here I sit.
This is really like talking to a brick wall, but it somehow brings...

Hey Monica - my mum's always been this way - I grew up
listening to the sort of stuff like The Eagles, Deep Purple,
Sabbath, Ozzy etc (because my Dad was a biker and that
was the sort of thing he was into).
My brother and I have been into it also ever since. God knows
what drove me to listen to Goth, I think it happened
in the mid 80's when a big bout of depression came
over me and I discovered The Cure and Bauhaus.
I never looked back!
