god i motherfucking hate when that happens. i just posted a long ass journal, and somehow i lost the whole thing cuz i hit a button sending it all back to the last page....GRRRRRR.

anyway, to paraphrase myself if that's even possible...
my girlfriend has to move back to victoria to attend college, so my life is ending for all intensive purposes. i will have to drive/ferry 8 hours one-way just to see her, and the crappy thing is...she's worth it.

ive been getting into really good shape over the last month...skating and biking every day, mostly skating up to Tabor, and biking around the city. Haven't been up to mt hood all summer. went on a 16 mile hike in alpine lakes wilderness in WA last week...beautiful!
the hike down was a killer on the knees though. took me 3 hours up, 5 hours down. memorable though.
