The smell of burning eyes is the same as burning flesh. Go figure.

I went for photorefractive keratectomy (PRK). The predecessor of LASIK that was surpassed in popularity by the spedy recovery associated with LASIK. For my purposes, and for the sheer fact that I plan on continuing to engage in contact sports, PRK was the best option because there was no corneal incision required....

Same old same old. Actually things are okay. Been spending a bit o time with K. I think she and I are approaching that stage where we consider each other gf's. Weird. That whole word is weird to me. Actually the whole thing is weird to me. But she's cool. She's got the best eyes ever. And she cooks for me. Wonderbar.

Well, I'm not on here much at this rate. Crackbook is fun and most of my real life friends are there, so I can't not have fun on there vs. SG.

What's new? Hmm...lots of work, school shit, feeling tired, being injured, being tired of being injured.

On the plus side - things with the youngin have been going swimmingly. She was away in Egypt...

Soooo......the youngin told me that she's starting to fall for me. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it. I do like her. Oh feelings.....

She is really cute, though. And we have the same sense of humor.

And I am on some motherfucking CRAZY carb eating binge lately. But then again, I've been doing about 80-90 minutes of cardio a day. So...maybe that's...

I have a date with a 23-year old tonight. I just think it's awesome that she totally asked me out. She admits to liking the older ladies. This will be a first...being the "older" lady. I feel like a pervert. haha.

Whoa, talk about a late night on a school night. haha. I've been awake since 6 am. Worked out, worked, class, class, bar then another bar. I only had a minute amount of beer as I usually avoid alkeehawl.

However, I did go to the ladies mixer thing. I mainly hung with 2 of the ladies I met from the Emerge photo shoot. Apparently, I'm...

I feel like a drag queen-ish.

This morning was spent working out followed by doing a photo shoot for the Emerge Philadelphia women's party in May of 2008. It's a party to raise money for the Sapphire Fund.

My friend in NY connected me to her friend in Philly and she contacted me to see if I would be willing to do the shoot. It...

Woo, my knees feel slightly better although they are not 100%.

On the other hand, my ex and I have been playing the bitch game with each other. She was previously unwilling to pay me the remainder of the money she owed me for the land upstate and hid it from her lawyer and pretended it never existed and ignored all my text messages. So...

Rise above it. If you do get back into the apartment to pick stuff up bring a neutral observer, video tape; before, during, and after, and DO NOT fuck anything up - you will end up getting screwed in the end.

It is not all women - my wife is so much better than I am.

The one before her is still known in my family as the cunt from hell. Short version of the story; dating, claimed she was pregnant wanted abortion paid for still dating, broke up, got back together a year later after a month claimed I was the father of her child, we moved in together, I bought all kinds of kid stuff, babysat, loved the kid, she moved out, she moved back in, she moved out, she moved back in, she moved out, she moved back in, we finally broke up, I continued to pay support and see the kid. One day no more seeing the kid, I kept paying support, I filed in court, hearings, DNA test, I was not the dad frown frown frown - I wanted to die I loved the kid (such a cute sweet pretty little girl [I am crying as I write this - never should have gone here]).

Edit to add:
It is only stuff. It is not worth the pain - let the lawyer deal with it.
candycrimson:
You probably won't want the stuff later anyway. It might remind you of her. You're better off taking the money and getting yourself some new things that you can build a new life with. I understand all your anger, but maybe you can turn it around a little, and put all that energy into showing yourself you're the stronger person. Screw her.

Ok, I'm annoyed at people who don't follow the rules. Rules are there for a REASON. And this is especially pertinent when it comes to sparring. And it's even more important when you're sparring with someone who is 60-70 lbs lighter than you and a few inches shorter. And it's quite important when you're supposed to be fighting ONE style and you're working on technique...

I know exactly how you feel. We were in the 2nd week of a military training and we were doing our combatives training. It was the first time that we went live and we were fighting for dominant position. My shin was pinned under my opponent and he turned me. My shin stayed in place and my thigh began to spin. I felt 3 clicks in my knee and that was when I screamed and my opponent jumped off. The Dr. said that he did not see any serious damage to my knee on the xrays, but xrays don't show much for soft tissue damage. Anyway that was 6 weeks ago and my knee is still sore. Of course I have been forced to run on it and the Army really does not give you enough time to recover.

If it gets worse I will have to force them to give me an MRI. But as long as you can rest it it will heal.
mightyjim4:
That sucks.

Hopefully, this will amuse you a bit...
