Life in China has been more than interesting these past 8 months. Gotta admit I was surprised when they lifted the block on Suicide Girls. Must be that they feel that tattooed beautiful women do not pose a threat to the oppressive communist government.
The hardest thing to get used to, not being touched, stared at, grabbed or followed due to my height and tattoos, but the social norms in China. From the way people drive (the wild west) to the fact that money is worshiped and therefore the race into the future has caused the rape of the environment, it is another world here. While I love my students and teaching physics is fantastic, I have to say, I am not a fan of China.
Hope everyone back home is happy, healthy and well.
