----------------------------------------
01/30 The Stills kicked all ass. They played an amazing set for over an hour and did two encores. They have really gotten a feel for the stage and are reworking their songs a bit in the live setting. I love when bands do that. Plus, they bearly wait for applause before dropping right in to the next song, keeping the energy up the whole show. They are going to be huge.

----------------------------
01/31 The off Braodway show I went to see was called "The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus." It's at 125 W. 42 St. I honestly had no idea what I was going to see until it happened. It's kind of hard to explain what the show was exactly, but all I can say is that it was completely brilliant. Funny, exciting, spontanious. It was a mix of Vaudeville comedy, had the sexiness of a Burlesque show, and the humour of a comedy troupe. Imagine circus acts performed by a group of sexy girls, in stylish costumes, while keeping it all light hearted and fun.

It's $20 and closes on February 29th. I seriously recommend it to any of you who live in NYC or nearby. Don't miss it.

02/02 It's 42 degrees!!! That's nearly a heatwave compared to how things have been around here lately.

02/04 Went to the Philly SG Burlesque show at the Trocodero. It's a huge venue with a big stage. That had to be a lot of pressure for these girls, but let me tell you not only did this show sell out, (1300 people) they rocked the walls of that club. They came out and put on an incredible, high energy show and the crowd went wild for them. I was very impressed.

We had a huge turnout for our after party at the Ministry of Information. So many new members, old faces, and SG Philly regulars showed up. We closed the bar with a packed house. Rockin' good time all around.
---------------------------------------
02/06 Unreal, awesome, downright incredible.

Starting off the long night of events we had an SGNY dinner meet up at a really nice Mexican restaurant right around the corner from the venue. The food was great, the conversation was lively and a lot of new faces came out. I love starting the night off like that.

We all headed over to the Knitting Factory to see the show next. During the first two bands we hung around the front bar and I have to say that SGNY was in full effect tonight. In this very tiny bar there must have been at least 50 members hanging out, talking, having some drinks.

Easily one of the coolest moments of the night for me was when I got to see Violet again. She and I hung out the entire week she was here last and I'm so proud of her being on this tour. She introduced me to Snow, Brandy, and Shera. That totally set the mood for the night. Shera and I had a nice long conversation at the bar and she's a real sweetheart. I liked her personality so much I just had to add her to my favorites list.

The Knitting Factory stage was much smaller and more cramped then the Philly show, but I think it made for a more intimate show. I got right up front this time and it was pretty intense. These girls really know how to work the crowd. They put on another fantastic performance and everyone was well into it.

We had a huge after party that went until, well I don't know how late, but I stayed until 4am. There were so many of the SG models at this party that you couldn't swing a cat by it's tail without hitting one. It really means the world to me that they come out to support us supporting them. So many new faces, so many drinks, too many names to remember, but defintely good to meet those that I did, Great to see all the old regulars, and I feel very confident saying, I think everyone had a brilliant time.
---------------------------------------
02/09 I'm off to Boston now to see the Burlesque show again. I can't wait. Getting to visit one of my favorite cities, dinner with Bailey, one of my favorite SGs, and it's my birthday. How cool is that?

Plus I just got the BEST card in the mail from the sweetest girl GlassHeart. Thank you, doll. love kiss
--------------------------------------
02/10 So my birthday was fucking incredible. It started off great and just kept getting better and better.

Drove up to Boston to see the Burlesque show and met up with a bunch of folks early to have dinner beforehand. Lots of people I hadn't seen in a while. Bailey, Brie, KDub, and Murkling. AND I got to meet the super cutest girl around, Sid. What a doll, and very friendly, too.

Once we headed over to the club, I had a chance to chat with Shera again, and sat with Violet and Brandy while they had a quick dinner before they went onstage. I wish Violet lived out on the East Coast. She's such a great girl. Seriously one the coolest people I've met on SG.

The show was jam packed sold out and the crowd went mad for them as expected. I really enjoyed seeing it for the third time. Even though it was the same skits each time, they are so fun and light hearted they just never get boring at all. Don't ask me to even try and pick a favorite, because I loved the show from start to finish. It's simply incredible. I wish I could have gone on tour with them just to see it every night.

If it's coming to your town still and you haven't gotten tickets yet, do so. It is selling out everywhere it goes.

We had a great after party once the show was over. Strio and Blondie were the best hosts. I think there was a total of like 40 people in their place. And everyone was in a great mood.

Again got to see some more old friends that I miss. Edea, Scarlett, and their respective bfs, MaxWild came up from NYC, Semetic, who got me the best gift, Quiesence, the drink wizard behind my many, many Absinthes. That is some good shit, mate. Thank you. Um, let's see who else. Mouse was there, quiet as ever, but looking good as usual, and that's all I can think of right now. I had a lot to drink.

All in all a great night. A great show. A great birthday.

Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun. And to Murkling and Violet for buying me drinks, KDub for letting me crash at his place, and MaxWild, for driving my hungover ass home.
-------------------------------------
02/12 Went down to Philly for the weekly drink night at Ministry of Information. Juke, Jerk, and Jive night. The turnout was huge. It's good to see that Philly has really come alive in the past few weeks. The average turn out used to be 5-7 people for this and last night there must have been about 20 or so. Maybe more.

Had a chance to meet kinkykate. Very nice girl, who introduced herself to me. I'm glad she did, because I'm horrible at approaching people I don't know. A great addition to our group I'm sure. Anyone with the guts to just come right out and ask, "So, are you in the BDSM group?" has certainly got my vote for the biggest balls around. Sorry Kate, I'm not into pain, and I'm not bi dammit.

The food and music were great as always, and I was bought two birthday drinks. Macgrrl and Tobaslly, you both rule. Thank you.

We kept it an early night and were out of the bar by 1am. It may be my last time down for a while though, because Stiles is moving this week and he was my regular crash space. I'll have to work something out before my next trip down.
----------------------------------------
02/13 I couldn't bring myself to make it out to Bar 13 last night. Exhustion has set in. I don't know how rockstars do it.
-------------------------------------
02/14 I think this is going to be the last update to this journal before start a new one. I hope everyone enjoyed reading along with my antics these past two weeks. It has been a blast.

Last night was our SGNY Anti Valentine's Day party. It was a blast as usual. What can I say? These are some of the most fun people I have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. The party was full of people dancing, drinking and having a hell of a lot of fun. It just feels great to be a part of a scene where people can really let go and unwind, be themselves without being judged.

The party ran very, very late and although I was meant to go back into Manhattan tonight, there is no way I can do it. I may still hit the Union Pool Hall tomorrow night, but even that doesn't look too promising at this point. I have to work in the afternoon on Monday, and I think what I really need is a vacation from my vacation before going back to work. So I might just be spending the next two days relaxing around the house, getting a few chores done that I have been putting off.

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. Lots of love and kisses for you all.
