I'm so bad at staying online. I'm applying for a Job as a Bartender up at the local pub and their res has wireless. Right now I'm working down at Boundary ranch. It's a mountain trail rides place. I get to work outside all day and rip around on a quad. My music has been taking off... I'm getting called on stage at open mike events now. Not bad for somebody with little or no talent

I promise I'll be social again one day.

I pulled a dissapearing act. No internet or phone for almost 2 months. Just 10 to 22 hour days and good ol alcoholism. I'm up in Edmonton again looking at buying a car. I'm going to be making more of an effort to be online as well. Hope everyone hasn't forgotten about me

Just read my last blog... yikes. That French chick dicked me around something fierce. But I've since bounced back. Been working a new job as a cashier and picking up extra shifts. I've got about 3 new songs since i was online last. I've also got a guy who wants to record them and a dude who wants to play base. My friend Kristy recorded me doing a couple the other day and put them on her myspace website. When I get her address i'll post it so everyone can see my lame music. It's worth a laugh.

I played "cockblocker" to a bunch of drunken forty year olds the other night at open mike. They thought it was pretty funny

Did anyone hear about that kid that the invisible man and the invisible woman had together? I guess he wasn't much to look at

Up in Edmonton. Wow things have been great lately. I've met a girl in K-town. She's good looking, gothic, and french... I finaly have somebody to watch the Nighmare Before Christmas with!

I've been having a bitch of time getting online lately. Been working 12 hour days again.

Today is tax day!! My most favorite day of the year.

I'm looking at heading to Edmonton on the 23rd... which means I'll be in Calgary during the day on that day if anybody wants to meet up for lunch.

My brother is a lucky bastard. He gets to go to France for 3 weeks because they found the corpse of a soldier from world war 1. I guess he'll be part of the burial detail. In the meantime he gets to tour around.... and he's getting paid for it

Back in action baby!!

im back to work, back to the bar, and back up to my old tricks. I want to come in to calgary soon. anybody feel like meeting up for some lunch?

So i slipped on the Ice last thursday and dislocated my knee again. F***************CK

It's getting faster at healing each time. Got to go talk to the doc to find out if i need surgery or not. At least I'll be back at work on Saturday. I love working. My favorite thing to do on my days off is getting called in to work.

In fact. I'm never going to retire. One day when I'm 82 I'll feel like i'm going to die. If I have the time I'll give 2 weeks notice; if not, i'll just call in sick.

I haven't been online in 2 weeks. One girl called me cute and another called me shmexy... i feel so loved

Back in Ktown

Chasing girls is good exercise. That along with proper dieting is making me quite trim indeed.

There's an open mike night coming up in my residence building. I'm gonna play. It's gonna be my first time performing in front of an actual audience instead of just my drunken friends.

not much else for now. hopefully something interesting will happen this week

Finally time for a proper update.

I'm sitting in an internet cafe on Kensington after a loverly steak lunch.

So here's my holidays in a nutshell.

For Chrismas the hotel threw us a party on the 22nd. It was a formal dinner in dance with very cheap drinks. I met a girl 10 minutes before going. We went together. I tried seeing her for a bit but she had this nasty habit of sleeping with other men. That didn't bother me so much... it was the fact that she wouldn't sleep with me that had me discouraged. Met another girl. She's a real sweetheart and she has a nintendo gamecube (+1). I'm hoping to take her out after i get back from Edmonton.

Christmas was a bit nutty. We worked twelve hour days all week except for Christmas Day. That day was a solid 16 hours. Did 2 overnight shifts for New Years Eve and the day before. New years was cool... we did a countdown with champagne in the Staff Caff and then wen toutside to watch the fireworks. With a full moon and Mount Kidd as a backdrop, the fireworks were absolutely unbelievable.

Heading up to see the family tomorrow. Should be fun times with plenty of belated Christmas shopping. And speaking of Christmas.. I wrote my own Christmas carol

And buy presents for people we like and none for people that we hate
The food is always tasty good the portion sizes great
Which is why so many people leave this holiday overweight

They claim that they will lose it all starting on the first
It seems like an overblown lie so i don't know what's worse
They try to join the gym but there's no money in the purse
Because Christmas leaves us all a little broke

Christmas is a time when all the homeless people freeze
Because it is to fricken cold at minus twenty five degrees
And some commit a crime so that in prison they can stay
Cause burglary gets you five months which brings you out to May

Cause then they are all warm and fed not living on the street
And freezing to death seems much worse than sodomy or getting beat
And in Canadian Prisons they always serve you meat
Some even have Nintendo Sixty Four

Christmas is a time when some of us have to work
To give people with too much cash a false sense of worth
We wait on all them hand and foot they've been spoon fed since birth
Which is why Christmas is my least favorite day...

Damn I've been busy. Worked clean through Christmas and drank a ton. I've switched to straight liquor now.

Been neglecting the internet as of late. Haven't checked my email in 2 weeks.

IM BACK IN THE MOUNTAINS!!

Had a bit of a run in with some of the first years from my program.

Some Christian kid confront me about my values on friday night. He didn't like the way I was speaking to my friend (his 18 year old... and apparently very impressionable by his 19 year old wisdom), and told me that I was "not going to talk to her anymore otherwise he'd kick my ass"

Being that I was both drunk and twice his size, I fell over laughing. Told him i'd scrap him for fun cause I like scrappin but it'd be nothing personal. He came back at me that it was personal and the fight would be for the girl. I laughed at him again, he got angrier and made some comment about me not being a christian.

That got me a little riled up (don't know why, but it did)... I guess I hate it when people impose their values on me and call me immoral. Lucky for both of us he was just talking. I'd hate to get arrested on the night I was supposed to leave.

Nuff bout that.

Residence out here is overbooked so they're putting me up in the hotel. I've got a pretty good room. Might be stuck there till after Christmas. Im just stoked to be back
