Man I used to love scotch, unfortunately it doesn't like me anymore.
As for writing, I have no advice that isn't cliche (begin at the beginning? whatever ).
I never have trouble beginning myself, it's the finishing part I never seem to work out.

Hey there... I hear you on the "getting bored" thing. There'll be days that go by with no one commenting to my posts. I often feel like I'm posting to myself, and quite frankly, what's the point in that? I dunno... I think my time here may be limited too. My problem is that I think I expect too much... again, I dunno. Just to let you know, you're not alone in this boat.

What did the illustrious Beatle Sir Paul McCartney do? He's on his Bono-esque crusade by telling Canada what to do about the seal hunt. Not that I'm for it, but he's pathetic and misinformed.

Hey dude... hope the show went well.

Oh yeah, time frame wise, that's the best for the The Who... I'd probably even push it to say, 73-74.

I am in a kanundrum, between a rock and a hard place, my heart pulled in differnt directions and the fear of regret looms large, to get to that true essence and truth of myself seems to be a long and winding road. I have lived one way for a long time and I crave a new way of living....I sit in a warm place...

I'm so sorry to hear. My mum's surgery went well. I'll be seeing her today.

I know what you mean about telling people how much you love them.

One of my ex bf's (who i'm still on great terms with), his mum has lung cancer, and lumps have shown up in her neck. He's so distraught, he has such a close bond with his mum.

Too bad we missed the chance to go for a couple of pints! Glad you enjoyed your stay in Mtl, though... which pub are you talking about that's your favourite? Chances are, I've been there! smile
carlow:
Yeah, Mcleans is pretty cool... good food too. It on Peel St. just below St. Cath's a tad. A buddy of mine is the manager there, actually... Haven't been in a while, since I don't live downtown anymore. Glad you enjoyed your stay! Say, since you were so close to Hurley's pub (it's way closer to the Bell center than Mcleans is), you could have gone there. Good food, good beer and always live Irish music. Good stuff...
