-Verse for Strength of purpose-
What I have built, others of I can take down.
What they take down, others of they can rebuild.
I wrote this when I was thinking about how easy it is to become pessimistic about how what we do can change the world; it can be so hard and so much can so easily be undone. Our votes canceled out by others of different opinion, our protests forgotten, our creations destroyed or simply allowed to fade away.
Something still remains, though.
Someone who feels like you once felt can find the foundations of your past doings buried in the desert, reconstruct them, and carry them further into the future than you ever could have.
I dedicate this to my beloved radical cheerleader. Never fear.
