Hooray! Five days off!
Thanksgiving holiday has officially begun, and I have the rest of the week off. I must admit, I need it. I have a lot of reading to catch up on, and a lot of house upkeep and other errands that I have been ignoring. This should also give me an opportunity to do a little Christmas shopping. Normally I'm pretty good about having most, if not all, of my shopping done by Thanksgiving. We'll see if I make it this year.
We're also trying to plan our holiday visits to the parents--mine in Texas, hers in Alabama. It's always a chore, and the wife always makes things more difficult than they need to be concerning this.
I've been struggling with a little carpel tunnel syndrome this week as well, particularly in my right wrist. It was in both for a bit, but my left wrist is much better, yet the right still lingers. I've been wearing a brace for four days now, and I do believe that it is improving. I've also bought a few things to help it out, like padding for my keyboard. A lot of it boils down to poor computer posture, which I am making an effort to try to remedy. Carpel tunnel syndrome is the bane of the academic, so I'm hoping to avoid anything permanent.
Everyone have a nice thanksgiving...we're hoping to hook up with the SGNC crowd soon!
