I just got back to Hawaii after an 8 month deployment to Iraq. Its definitely nice to be back.
I am currently rotting away in Columbus, GA waiting on getting my shoulder surgery so I can get to Hawaii. I always thought it would be great to have a ton of time off so I could do whatever I want, but once you have done that for a few months it gets very old.
