you know, sometimes I get sad that I've been on the site for more than two years now and I haven't made more than 15 friends.

then, I realize that if I'm ever gonna have more than that, I'm actually going to have to socialize.

so... I guess I should really update my blog, eh?

I GOT A NEW JOB!

I'm working at the Ivy League school here in Philly. I'm doing the same thing I did at the previous job (Audio Visual Technician, Kiss my ass Stryker Endoscopy!) but I'm doing it with a company, manager and co-workers that are all local instead of nationwide and clueless. I took a decent paycut with the job as well as a city wage tax that takes a nice chunk out of my check too.

Know what? I dont care. There's enough people on the streets, on welfare and in the middle class doing worse than I am. On top of that? I"m happy as a motherfucker that I don't stress over anything or do paperwork anymore. Joy of joys.


Also:
- Car is about ready to die. the hood latch has stared to ware after 12 years and the hood now shakes with the engine vibrations.

- Planning a trip to Chicago in August for Wizard World. Going to meet up with alot of people I haven't seen in a long time (family and friends). Anyone else here going?

- Went to vegas in January for the AVN Expo. It's the most well behaved convention I've ever been too. Also: Gianna Michaels has the softest body I've ever hugged. If you ever get the chance, hug her.

- I'm now on Xbox live almost regularly every friday night. anyone wants to catch me, the gamertag is "Lyfeforce" (shocking, I know) and I'm usually playing Gears of War.

So, how've you been?

And now, I continue the trend of posts that swing to one side of the pendulum to the other with each post.

I spent the weekend in Vegas at the AVN Expo (the porn industry's big weekend of networking, previewing product and taking pictures with smelly fans). With the exception that my job called me every day I was there (from wednesday of last week to saturday), it was great. The weather, the scenery (you try flying over the grand canyon and not get awestruck), the company (the Truman Capote of Porn, Rik O'Shay), the food (if you're ever at the MGM Grand, Try the fried shrimp at the buffet), the girls (Mika Tan, Gianna, Nautica Thorn specifically), it was all great. On top of this? I get a call while I was on the plane wanting to interview for a job.

The bad? I'm still supposed to be on vacation, but my job dropped the ball, and they cut my vacation by a week (out of an original ten days). I was ready to walk into the place on monday and spraypaint "I Quit" in big red letters across every wall and floor.

Random observation: It seems like any time I grow my beard, shit gets good for me. I wonder why?

anywhat, I've also got a IT company interested in me for their call center for MS Office troubleshooting... not my forte, but why not?

so... yeah. woo. fuck work.
