Lots of changes in life these days...some bad and some good but all part of life. I composed a song with my band the other night and I was expecting to have killed everyone by the end of the night due to all the tension but it ended up being very civil and productive. Ask Paincake.
Running into some old friends and acquaintances and meeting a lot of new faces as well. I need to do that more often and get out of my shell for once.

My wedding has been postponed: first it was cold feet and then hectic schedules took their toll.
Its for the best and its better to take a step back now rather than having shit blow up later.

Fri.: Went to The Casbah for the SAn Diego Is Burning CD release. This compilation kicks ass (see track 15 and 16). After-party in Bay Park at 230a.m.
BBQ at 3a.m. got home at 5a.m.
Sat.:Got up at 9a.m. did some gardening and went to a housewarming in the afternoon. Later that night I played in Manuok at The Rosary room. Good God, I hate the sound there. AND its HOT!!!
Sun.: Paincke's girl had an 80's rocker themed party. I wore short denim cutoffs (She tried to sneak a pic of my "junk" when I'd sit down), a bad blonde mullet wig, and an even worse tan. Got very drunk by sunset.
Quite the weekend. Very social.
Rode my bike to work for the first time in 2 weeks, yesterday. My new route has now become a 13 mile ride each way, maybe a little more. It felt good until it got swealtering hot!!!

At least yesterday my friend got back from Iraq. I never would've imagined I'd have a friend to come home from a war, especially her. She's a tough gal and now is the time to make up for lost time.

Let me say that it was the best stage/performance area, ever. Its a fuckin' radio station and it has a stage!?!
The host asked what I was up to that night, I said I was going to see Sick&Twisted, so he hooked me up with passes! Free is good.
