Holy shit. This week has been one big collective sigh of relief.
At midterm, I had in my classes, a B, a C, and two F's. A day before my Astronomy exam, I was in my adviser's office in tears because I was positive I was going to fail. An F would kick me out of school.
I got my final grades this week: Two B's, a C, and a D. Now, a D is nothing to brag about, but holy fucking shit I am not getting kicked out of school!
In addition, I have the apartment mostly to myself, as my roommate went home for break. So that's groovy. I mean, I feel bad for her getting tonsillitis this close to the December religious observance she celebrates, but when an ex-girlfriend isn't around to talk about the great new guy she met, it's a bit of a relief.
Gift shopping is done. Classes are done, and I have enough weed to last me until I go home. It's not perfect, but this is possibly the first time in 2008 I feel genuinely positive.
