back from 30 days of vacation i just realised i forgot how to be a journalist. serious. i had to ask my boss how to start the article, how to find the picture to illustrate it, how to design it on the page. i also realised when i was working 335 days without stopping i didn't know how to relax. i simply started sleeping all days until 1 pm. so my vacation was, basically, not working, as a friend said.
i went to moms house, in southern brasil, curitiba.
and all my work mates use to go to fancy places in europe because their parents support them (what i think is lovely. and mom, thanks for the R$ 300 monthly). so, every time someone asks me where did i went to, i invent a new place. until now, i visited turkey, dubai, kuala lumpur, guinea bissau, new york and miami, thailand. i also invent details about the trips. like, in thailand i was friends with a bunch of prostitutes and in dubai, i was in that hotel that looks like a carambola (i dunno the name of this fruit in english).
i also use to have nice answers when someone asks me "what are u up to" because life isnt supposed to be always cool. sometimes im pregnant, other times i have a fatal virus, almost every weekend i practice some extreme sport.
once i asked my friend mari "what you and your bf do on weekends". she said "we go to the movies, rent a movie, go to a pub, hmmmm, go to the beach sometimes. thats it".
i just got relieved because thats all i do. and i thought i was weird because i didnt practice extreme sports.
when i was a kid i tought life was supposed to be very funny.
but thats all. bland.
