i watched a building burn yesterday. A beautiful stone building with 3 stories and 30 apartments. It's amazing, despite the chaos and destruction, it was totally calming. It put me at peace with the world. Now that it's extinguished its not so peaceful, 30 suites of people have to put there lives back together and find a place to live in a town with close to no vacancies, in the middle of winter. shitty. the building turned 100 years old this year, happy birthday.
