Ellen Von Unwerth is an iconic photographer from the 80's till the present. She has made some of the most erotic fashion photographs of this time.She started as a model. She has also made music videos.

She is best known for her Black and White images.

Helmut Newton was one of the first photographers of fashion and eroticism I fell in love with. He took amazing shots of women in couture clothes and with a style that portrayed them in a position of power and desire.

With all this talk of Instagram being sold to Facebook. It reminds me of the polariod effects you see on our mobile photo editors. But Helmut took real polaroids! There is a show and book about his work out too.

Maybe instagram is the best way to access that technique these days, but check Newtons work out, there is something we can gleen from him.
