makes me happy: Being with friends, dancing until the early hours, DJing when it goes right and people love it, and generally just getting on with life when there are no complications and everything's peachy and swell. Because yeah, that happens all the freakin' time.
makes me sad: When you've slaved over an awesome meal and you drop it on the way out of the kitchen. I mean, other things do, too, but that one comes to mind. Admit it. It's happened to you, and it sucks.

After five and a half years, I'm getting out of retail.
That's right! I managed to get myself an office job, with a desk, and a computer, and everything. Nothing too flashy - taking calls regarding council tax - but it's a step in the right direction, and a big jump up the salary ladder. Oh, and I get weekends. I can't describe how awesome this is!
So, from Wednesday, I'm no longer the bitch of every clueless, rude customer who comes into my shop.
No, instead I'm the bitch of every clueless, rude caller who dials my number.
