"lady vee is the most stand-up, knock-down glamour doll around. this evening we saw eachother and she smelled like cookies and vanilla and her eyeliner is always perfectly applied and when i think back on our friendship what strikes me most is the time i was freaking out and i told her so and she insisted on phoning me and helping me calm down and telling me everything is all right, even though i was sure i was crying too much to make any sense. now, who does that? fucking good friends, is who. i am so happy to have her as a friend; she is so random and hilarious and i just laugh my ass off and it is really, really nice. aside from the laughy bit, she is good on the actually able-to-relate-to-in-many-ways level."
