so, i am not a slayer fan, or a megadeth fan, but a machine head fan i am, and thats where this story starts,
canadian carnage tour 2009 slayer/megadeath co-headlining, with machine head and another random band opening. we got in as soon as machine head stated opening with empirium as my brother and i ran to find our seats. Oh what a wonderful show they played beautifully, ,exquisite some might say (such as my self). a short show sure but wonderful. but what really made it all worth it was the last song, after many " Bang your fucking heads mother fuckers"!! and "i wanna see your fists in the air"... as he threw mickies of vodka in the air shouting "we share our vodka hear". this is when my brother made the move of a life time, walking calmly to the stair case and contemplating his move, then swiflty running down the stairs, and leaping over the last row of seats adn over the barrier beside the guards landing beside another guard who made a half ass attept to catch him as he leaped over the second fence and on to the floor after only one or two steps after his first landing,..the guard gave up as he landed and ran thew the crowed forcing his way to the front for the last song...meanwhile me and the others where cheering for him and the band along with every one else who saw this triumphant leap.
just wonderful and a perfect ending to a wonderfull show, ..you see we left as soon as machine head stopped playing, ...really no need to stay for the rest.
